President Donald Trump has demanded that two Muslim female members of the US Congress, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, be sent back to their respective countries immediately.

He made the demand after the two members shouted and protested at him during Trump's 'State of the Union' address on Wednesday (last Tuesday, US local time). This information was reported by Anadolu Agency.

In a long message on his social media platform 'Truth Social', Trump wrote, 'When people can behave like this and when it is known that they are unethical and corrupt politicians and are very harmful to our country; then they should be sent back to where they came from - as soon as possible.'

Ilhan Omar was born in Somalia but has been a US citizen for three decades. On the other hand, Rashida Tlaib, who is of Palestinian descent, was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA. That is, she is a US citizen by birth. As a result, there is no legal opportunity for either Ilhan or Rashida to be sent back to their ancestral homeland.

The two lawmakers repeatedly protested Trump's words during his State of the Union address to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday evening. They were protesting the deaths of US citizens at the hands of Trump administration immigration officers. Just before leaving the House chamber, they shouted, "You killed Americans."

In response to Trump's message on Truth Social, Rashida wrote on social media, "He can't stand two Muslim women protesting and correcting his mistakes. So now he's losing his temper. #PresidentMajnun.' 'Majnun' used in the hashtag is an Arabic word, which means 'madman'.

Meanwhile, in the same message on Truth Social, Trump also attacked his harshest critic and two-time Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro. Trump wrote that De Niro is a "sick and insane man; with a very low IQ. He has no idea what he is doing or saying."
