Four killed in stabbing in Washington

Four people were killed in a stabbing outside a home in Washington, U.S. The 32-year-old suspect was later shot and killed by police.

The incident occurred Tuesday morning local time in front of a home on the Key Peninsula northwest of Tacoma.

The Pierce County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a man violating a no-contact order at 8:41 a.m. The police were called to the scene after receiving a report that a man was suspected of violating a no-contact order.

Earlier, police officers received a copy of the ‘no-contact’ order. But they found that it was not yet in effect. Because it had not been officially delivered to the suspect.

The police went to deliver the order to the suspect in person. But at that time, the 32-year-old man began stabbing people indiscriminately outside the house.

According to multiple eyewitness accounts, the man began stabbing people around 9:30 a.m. Three minutes later, police opened fire to disperse the attacker. The suspected attacker was killed on the spot.

Meanwhile, three people who were injured in the stabbing died at the scene. The fourth person was rushed to the hospital, but he also died during treatment.

Police said that an investigation into the incident is underway.

According to the AP, the woman who was stabbed in front of the house was seeking a one-year no-contact order against her son.

The woman said in the complaint that her son was constantly threatening her. He is addicted to drugs and suffers from mental health issues.

According to court documents, the woman wrote in the complaint, “He tortured me, damaged my personal belongings and hurt my pet cat.”

The names of the suspected attackers and those killed in the attack have not been released.
